Q & A EPISODE
Can Bugleweed Be Taken If You Have a Goiter?
Often, people with a goiter will read the label on a bottle of bugleweed and be alarmed by the warning that it’s contraindicated in enlargement of the thyroid.
This is understandable, as it’s important to be cautious when choosing herbal supplements.
Today I’m sharing why this is contraindicated, the circumstances where people with goiters should avoid bugleweed, and my experience taking bugleweed while I had a goiter.
During this episode, you’ll learn about:
- Caution warnings on bugleweed labels
- Why persons with hypothyroidism should avoid bugleweed
- The two causes of goiters
As always, I hope you’ve found this episode valuable, and I look forward to catching you in the next episode!
